Earlene I. Birdwell, 73 of Temperance, MI, died Wednesday, March 18, 2105, in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. Born November 2, 1942 in Toledo, Ohio, she was the daughter of Thomas and Lucille (Piechowski ) Beamon. She married Wilson Birdwell on October 13, 1962. Earlene was a teacher’s aide for Whiteford Agricultural Schools for 25 years, retiring in 2004. She was an active member of Frey Road Church of Christ and enjoyed spending winters in Florida.
She is survived by her loving husband, Wilson. Children, Jeffery (Michelle) Birdwell, Shellie (Tim) Cottles, Kellee (Aaron) Pauwels, Steven (April) Birdwell, 6 grandchildren, Tori, Garrett, Samantha, Shane, Wilson and Reagan. Earlene was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Thomas Beamon, Jr. and grandmother, Florance I. Albright.
Visitation will be from 4:30-7:30 pm Saturday, March 21, 2015, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will follow at 7:30 pm. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio. www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
